Interests

  • General

Books, bands, jousting. Not necessarily in that order.
  • Music

Too many to mention. Music makes my life what is it, without it there wouldn't very much left. The Libertines, Special Needs, Pulp, The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, Luxembourg, Blur, Art Brut, The Paddingtons, Vincent Vincent and the Villians, The Pipettes, Baby shambles, Black Wire, Chineapples, Cherubs, Helen Love, The Clash, The Beatles, The Cribs, Crash Convention, Metro Riots, Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie, The Ronettes, Graham Coxon, Hope of the States, The Jam, Joy Division, New Order, The Killers, The Kinks, Pixies, Stellastarr, Radiohead. I cant remember any more right now. There are lots more. Dont talk to me about Starfighter X though, or I'll have to kill you.
  • Movies

I am rubbish at films. At a push, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, The Sound of Music, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Snatch. The History Boys. Sometimes in April. Little Miss Sunshine. Crap rom coms and highschool comedies. A Knights Tale (more jousting).
  • Television

I dont like television. I do like Shameless. And Spooks. And Teachers. And Prison Break. And Skins (yes I am ashamed of this). And Hollyoaks. And The OC. And This Life. And Life on Mars. Maybe I do like television after all.
  • Books

I cant answer this. I will say Juggling by Barbara Trapido. And Purple Hibiscus. And A Secret History. Too many too many too many my brain's going to explode.
  • Heroes

I dont really have heroes. Does Steven Fry count? My uncle is a bit of a hero of mine. The Black Night, who won the jousting at The Abbotsbury Swan Fair when I was 9.

About me:

We'll design a clever disguise / Or retreat to the bottom of the sea / We were destined to live out our lives / Underwater you and me

"This is the first and only time in your life I will allow you to clap-in 'Reach For The Stars'".

How - Can I keep me from moving?/ Now - I need a change of scenery/ Just listen to me I won't pretend to/ Understand the movement of the wind/ Or the waves out in the ocean or how/ Like the hours I change softly slowly/ Plainly blindly oh me oh my!

I think too slow and talk too fast.

Oh girl you're not bad but you need some work / You're some kind of tragedy waiting to occur.

I'll bite your fucking face off

Who I'd like to meet:

A man who can joust.

Alas, the songs are now mostly consigned to the finished, soon to be printed mini album out may 12th...we are doing this crazy thing where people have to go to the shops and exchange money for a phonographic representation of the music.
Radiohead better have some new tricks or there gonna start looking really old fashioned!!! bob

    Good day Lords and Ladies!

We bring you news to make your lives sparkle and shine. To curl the corners of you mouths. To direct you to the correct side of the bed to clamber out of and to turn your half empty bottle upside down.

After the success of last month, WE ARE BACK!
Wednesday 20th February. At the rather fashionable Punk in Soho. Live bands till 11:30, then dj's spinning the best of indie, shoe gaze, 80's, electro, twee and other such tastiness.

Warning! This product also contains the "World Famous" Bloody Awful Poetry competition, the BAP confession booth and maybe some nuts.

Come join us! Lets ply ourselves with enough alcohol to sink a small Oliver Reed.

    BAP BAP BAP..

This morning I was cold and hungry and no one had arrived yet.

I opened my bag and saw an aspirin box, still intact.

Your mini mince pie saved me. xxx
