ACR: I LISTENED TO TO A FEW OF YOUR SONGS AND YES OBVIOUSLY I CAN HEAR MANY, MANY DIFFERENT INFLUENCES. SO WHERE MIGHT THE FUTURE OF NEATON DUBACH AND MACHINE MEETS TRAGEDY FIND THEMSELVES 2 OR 3 ALBUMS INTO THE INDUSTRY?
NEATON DUBACH: I really appreciate your sincerity. There is a such a uniqueness about that style of musical composition, something like 'sonic therapy'. And such a dynamic slice of inner solitude combined with a percusion section that can only be described as 'break-through'. It leaves me wondering more about that pyschodelic side of the Beatles and Pink Floyd mixing a little SuperUnknown and Jar of Flies. Something like back when the entire focus was on the music. But you can't ever try to sound like anyone. The amazing and beautiful thing about music is the way in which it continues to evolve, progress and grow.
Video documentation of a performance piece by my friend Nate Kassel who rode around on his bike slapping high-fives to people who were trying to hail taxi cabs in NYC. Enjoy!
GREATTT show the other night :) They ran out of everything bagels, and onion bagels didn't exist, so I got you seseme. And I didn't know if you wanted cream cheese or butter, so I just got both... 'cause I'm cool.
