Glows in the Dark is an avant garde jazz group based in Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 2007 by Scott Burton as a new outlet for his music, Glows is an on-going attempt to meld jazz and free improvisation with the story telling qualities of movies (or “films” for the serious). The idea being to create music that’s engaging, challenging and always evolving. ALL DAY.

I saw you guys on TV last night! It was mind blowin'. The tunes were Nero, with always some machine gun soloing from ARCE and BURTON. And Turtle, with crazed out R. PACE on the bone. Also, very tight work from CAMERON and S. CLARKE holding it down from the rhythm perspective.
