I love your page! I skateboard, and am getting serious about, hoping to compete by this fall, and hopefully go pro! I've been skating a little less than a year, and had my first lesson today, and am bruised and sore, but it's worth it because I can do a fakie rock!
yea. EAST COAST. come to old orchard beach in maine and teach me how to surf. chyeaaaa :)that would be way too amazing. if you need a track to teach girls how to ride mx, i just happen to own one of the biggest tracks in new england that could be used for that.. so uhh... east coast? please?

See Jane Skate presents Calgary’s Fifth Annual Girls Skateboard Competition, taking place on Saturday, August 16th 2008 from Noon-4pm on the Westside Recreation Centre outdoor concrete skate park (2000 69th Street SW).
To celebrate 5 years of hosting Calgary’s ONLY all-female skateboarding event, See Jane Skate is teaming up with Westside Recreation Centre’s Summer Bash to offer the best in skateboarding, music and entertainment for all ages.
Talented female competitors from all over Canada will battle for CASH PRIZES, along with girl DJ’s, a B-Girls' Breakin' Showcase for female break dancers, CROWD GIVEAWAYS and tons of FREE entertainment for everyone!
See Jane Skate is committed to supporting women in action sports through the development of women’s skateboarding. “We are very excited to be holding the 5th annual competition in partnership with Westside Recreation, who actively supports youth in skateboarding” said Anne Klazek, Founder and Director of See Jane Skate. “This event provides an equal opportunity for all female skaters to engage in friendly competition with their peers. We are working to provide a positive, esteem-building environment in which girls can continue to foster the community of skateboarding”.
