About me: Hi My name is Lisa (aka SLIA). My story is probably very similar to many of you visiting this page. For over 10 years I always felt sick and doctors continually told me I was a hypochondriac. Then I was bed-ridden for 6 months, with pains all over my body, no appetite and no one knew what was wrong with me. My husband found me on the floor of our basement when he arrived home from work one late evening, with the dog staring down at me. Besides him agreeing something wasn't right with me, all I could do was laugh and say(insert curse here). I was called depressed, lazy and a few other choice words.
Little did they know I was none of the above and actually intolerant to gluten and gluten products! For other Celiacs, you know dairy and lactose is also included in this list and realize many sauces, flavorings and drinks contain some form of wheat which makes it difficult when wanting to eat something.
Once this was discovered, we switched our entire home to GF as well as my diet. Within weeks my pains and aches and sick feeling all began to disappear, as I kept the wicked GLUTEN out of my body.
We will be launching our new Living Life Gluten Free site shortly and would love your feedback. Check back often for updates about our goal to spread the word about Living Life Gluten Free.

Hello, Thanks for the add. I just found out I had a Gluten problem in Dec and have been on the diet since Jan. It is really working for me. My choice was to go back to the way I was raised on the farm and it has made a huge differance in my life. Good luck to all!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to write you all a quick note to let you know that our main site is now officially www. GlutenFreeAmerica. ORG
I found that as I was building my website and finding all kinds of great products and information that it was going way beyond just the spa products and felt the name glutenfreeAMERICA. ORG was more universal sense I have discovered I am actually building a growing COMMUNITY! and not just another silly website!
When I first found out I had Celiac Disease (among all my other problems) I was so upset, but as the last 3 years have gone by, I now know it is a blessing in a way because I would have never found out all of this great information or met any of you WONDERFUL people that I now lovingly refer to as my friends.
I would have never researched any of this information I have learned and never passed it on and never found all of the amazing products I have been introduced to.
Thanls for the help. I guess knowing what makes me sick is reasuring I just wish it was someting else other than the main ingredient in some of my favorite foods. Well take care and thanks for the help. -Brandi
