Rip Cashville Ace is one of Tennessee most influential artist that is making power moves and is the next leading light coming from the city of Nashville. Born and raised by a single mother and older brother on the Southside of the city; this unique artist has a story like any other typical youth growing up in our urban neighborhoods that is faced with the challenges of scarcity. Finding his recess at the age of 15 years old he would tamper with a karaoke machine and rap to instrumentals from artist such as the late Tupac Shakur, and Goodie Mob. Surrounding him self with kids that shared the same common and career interest, lead to where he met his childhood friend David Brown who is now known as Young Buck. The two challenged themselves with the same goal to someday to hold a career position as an artist.
Giving birth to his very first son and wanting to take care of his responsibility like any man should, Rip made a turn to the streets to make a quick income. "I decided to make everything worth the while until a change." Still being drawn in but realizing there was a better way, Rip and his older brother started there own record label Kant Stop Records. The two ventured into recording albums and performing in the opening spots for artist such as Ashanti, Lil Flip, Nelly, to name a few. In 2003 Rips old way of life came to a stopping point, but was also a change for the better being placed incarceration. "Some would say for the worst but I say for the best. The man up stairs had plans for me; he took me off the streets and put me in what I call a "Think Tank" and that's what I did I had time to think and put my life into prospective."
Being released Rip had a whole new game plan towards life, feeling refreshed and a level state of mind, he had a mission to follow his passion and to hold his dream as a rap artist. Gearing up and powering to be the entrepreneur he planned, he started by putting his business in order and giving his label a new name G.L.U.W. Entertainment." G.L.U.W. is a acronym from the name of my first album Grind Like You Whine. I was not whining any more; I was in straight grind mode, God had blessed me with a second chance towards life"
Since the formation of the new label the road to success has been substantial with the ability to connect, work and calibrate with known artist Hurricane Chris, Fabo, Lil Boosie and Webbie. Displaying his talents on the Down South Summer Jam Tour that premiered artist like Yo Gotti, his child hood friend Young Buck, and to gracing the stage as the winner of BET" Blaze the Stage" has only made his first debut single release "Key's To The Chevy" gain much recognition from radio airways across America, reaching placement on Billboard charts and being nominated for many awards.
