Our Disco's special guest on 19 October will be WHITEY, an artist long-revered and regularly-played out by And Did We Mention Our Disco?'s resident DJs, who will be presenting his very first 'DJ Live Set': a stripped-down live performance of his tracks interspersed with a dancefloor-friendly DJ mix, blurring the boundaries between a full-on live show and a 'dex-n-fx'-style DJ set.
Joining resident DJs at OUR DISCO on Friday 12 October will be long-standing regular guests at Our Disco, Twitch & Wilkes, from Scotland's now world-famous club night, OPTIMO, for a London exclusive DJ set.
Now pushing its tenth year at its home in Glasgow, OPTIMO's popularity goes from strength to strength. With a string of excellent DJ mixes released over the past couple of years, including How To Kill The DJ Part 2 on Tigersushi Records, Optimo presents Psyche Out on Eskimo Records, and the recent Walkabout mix on Kompakt Records. Reknowned for their deep knowledge of music history and eclectic selections, these are two guys who could never disappoint a dancefloor.
Often financial and logistical issues prevent both DJs from performing simultaneously at any club in London. We've pulled out all the stops for this event and managed the near-impossible to make this happen.
