“Glynn David” (Dave) Harris is a noted wordsmith and honored visionary singer/songwriter and guitarist, whose lyric compositions have made him a highly sought after performer and commentator. This talented popular music composer and respected lyricist, lives at the base of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Glynn is an uncompromising and original multimedia artist who continues to gain intensely loyal fans all over the world.
Over the years Glynn has performed for many of the Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos area universities, colleges and, a number of national music festivals around the country. His solo acoustic performances are a unique blend of his own original rhythms and sophisticated melody improvisations. Glynn captivates his audiences through his use of dynamic thought provoking hooks and, his expressive acoustic six & twelve-string guitar work that accompanies his passionate and powerfully poetic vocal arrangements. Glynn also uses other players for performances where it is musically advantageous. He feels the message is everything, so the lyrics are always the focus of his presentations.....

Glynn David owns and operates View-Trend* More Than Digital Multi-Media Productions in Albuquerque. In addition to his own musical compilations Glynn records and produces projects in almost every genre and style for television, film, advertising and commercial use and release. A accomplished telecommunications & data networks design engineer by profession, Glynn has in the past eight years begin to distinguish himself as one of New Mexico’s premiere original music homegrown talents.
[hon.] Named "the International Listening Association's 1999 Listener of the Year", for his work to promote listening through music in public high schools and colleges throughout the United States ("The Words Unspoken Listening Initiative!®"). On the strength of the lyrics to his inspirational song “The Light Within Hope’s Eyes”, he was honored in 1997 to have been invited to perform for the 53rd Presidential Inauguration, where he appeared along with Hootie & the Blowfish and Gloria Estefan. In addition to the Inaugural, he performed for the 1997 Quality New Mexico Annual Awards (QNMA) Conference (Albuquerque, NM, following Retired Gen. Collin Powell’s keynote address) and, was again contracted to perform for the "Kick-Off” that opened the 1999 QNMA Conference.
Glynn's Clark-Atlanta University performances in 1998 were the prelude to the Southern Black Colleges Conference entitled, "Rethinking the Civil Rights Movement . . . Reflections Thirty Years after the Assassination of Martin Luther King." Glynn also received an Editor’s Choice Award for the lyrics to his song; "Powerless" {National Library of Poetry '93}.
[bus.] Glynn founded View-Trend* Music & Film Score Publishing Company ('92) and began recording his first project . . . The Tierra West Project . . . which eventually evolved to become his debut CD “ . . . Words Un-Spoken!”, which was and continues to be globally well-received even today, long after its 1996 release. Glynn's independent CD recording debut (as writer / composer / artist and producer} captured much of his musical artistry, respected composition arrangements and lyrical craftsmanship. The freshness, sincerity and uncomplicated poetry in Glynn's music invoke introspective reflection in a style that he calls . . . "Black Folk//My-Life groove".
Glynn called his first CD “ . . . Words Un-Spoken!” a compilation of “vivid musical snap shots” of his own life. It has been a few years, but Glynn David is back with his long-awaited and greatly anticipated second recording entitled "Another Road Without A Sign" which is now in online prerelease and is expected in stores in Late Summer of 2007. Glynn says "Another Road Without A Sign" will hopefully present the evolution and maturity of his musical thought process and to some extent, the rhythmic reflections of his recent past.....
