Glyptic Minority, although not always known as Glyptic Minority, has been making electronic and industrial music since the year 1995.
GM is primarily made up of one member and many guests. T. Glyptic is the founding member of GM and will likely take it to his grave. Various artists have contributed to the works over the years as well.
The Sound
The sound created by GM is often called distintive and unique with a signature appeal. Fundamentally electronic and industrial sounds melded with live voices and instruments best describes the nature of the music. Sometimes dark, sometimes not. Somtimes noise, sometimes symphony. GM always keeps you guessing as to what will come out next.
Oh. You went chrome dome too? Ha! I tried it when I knew it was time to lose the 'hawk and well, it just kinda stuck. I admit it, I'm addicted.
I'm really glad you found me, it's great to hear from you again! I hope all is going well for you.
For the record, I did recognize the band name...somehow along the line I got some MP3's in my collection from Glyptic....some of your older stuff, but good stuffz. If you haven't already, listen to some of the stuff from my friends' band Boy Eats Drum Machine...I think you knew Jonny (from Stereo Crash), didn't you? More of a 80's New Wave rather than indie sound like yours, but similar inspiration and production style and high quality homemade stuff.
