This image of Tenaya Lake, Yosemite National Park, has been selected by the editors of Outdoor Photographer Magazine to appear in their 2010 Outdoor Photographer Magazine Landscape Calendar. You can purchase the calendar by contacting the publisher at (800) 258-5830. The cost is $13.95 US plus shipping. There is an advertisement for the calendar in the October 2009 edition of the magazine on page 82. The publisher is using a small clip of this image to promote the calendar.

Fresno County California
Superior Court Photo Collection

The nine photos above were selected by the Fresno County Superior Court to appear in a permanent photographic collection in their newly renovated Courthouse that will open in Fresno, California in early 2008. The display contains 70 photographs taken by a selected group of photographers located in Fresno California. The size of all the photographs in the collection is 20 x 30 inches, matted and beautifully framed by one of Fresno’s premier art framing stores. I consider it a privilege and honor to have been chosen as one of the photographers to have his photographic work in this new collection.

of Appeal Photo Collection

The eight photos above were selected by the California Fifth District Court of Appeal to appear in a permanent photographic collection in their new Courthouse that opened in Fresno, California during the later part of 2007. The display contains about 230 photographs taken by a wide array of photographers located predominantly in the Fifth District Court of Appeal’s geographic area in California. The size of all the photographs in this collection is 20 x 30 inches, matted and beautifully framed by one of Fresno’s premier art framing stores. I consider it a privilege and honor to have been chosen as one of the photographers to have his photographic work in this collection.

The Weaver

My life is but a weaving
Between my Lord and me,
I cannot choose the colors
He worketh steadily.

Oftimes He weaveth sorrow,
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I, the underside.

Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the Weaver’s skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.
