Gnosis es una banda de metal que comienza en febrero de 2005, siendo sus fundadores Allan Carnevale (actual guitarrista) y Carlos Suárez (actual bajista/cantante). Inmediatamente después se integra a la banda Francisco Yanes (actual tecladista). En los primeros ensayos de este “proyecto”, los integrantes, con gustos musicales y filosofías muy similares y a la vez diferentes, congeniaron a nivel musical. Teniendo esto en cuenta además de la amistad entre ellos, se tomó la decisión de convertir este “proyecto” en una banda seria.
Una vez formalizada la banda, las ideas de riffs y canciones inundaron las mentes de Allan, Carlos y Francisco, fue en ese momento que surge la primera canción de banda, “STAND”, creada por Allan Carnevale y letra por Carlos Suárez, sin embargo, hacia falta todavía un cantante y un baterista. Varios músicos ocuparon estas vacantes, sin embargo, por alguna razón u otra, no lograban seguir el ritmo y la dirección de la banda, lo que conllevó a la salida de estos integrantes.
Finalmente se incluyó un nuevo integrante, Jesús Lanz, un baterista dedicado que se adaptó rápidamente a Gnosis y trajo consigo un nuevo sonido para la banda. Gnosis comienza una nueva etapa caracterizada por el progreso y la innovación. poesteriormente se propuso la posibilidad de que Carlos ocupase la posición de cantante, esta propuesta fue aceptada por todos. El line-up actual esta conformado por: Allan Carnevale (guitarras), Carlos Suárez (bajo/voz), Francisco Yanes (teclado) y Jesús Lanz (batería). Hoy en día, GNOSIS posee un extenso material musical y un demo titulado “Strike of Eradication”.
Fueron muchos los nombres que se le dió a la banda, entre ellos: Frozen Whispers, Eternal Judgment, Doublecross, Ocultis. No obstante, una vez concretada la filosofía de la banda y el estilo musical (una fusión de prácticamente todos los estilos de metal con influencias Death, Black melódico y sinfónico, Progresivo, Heavy, Thrash y Gnostic Metal) se decidió que el nombre más adecuado para la banda era Gnosis (que significa “conocimiento”), propuesto por Carlos Suárez, representa nuestra filosofía de vida y de los mensajes que transmitimos mediante nuestras canciones.

Black Plague On Adam..s Kingdom
Pleased to present the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
