Bio:

A screaming ball of fire. A duo channeling an invisible transmission of energy from an unknown source. Or is there a knowable origin to all of this? Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, a city with enough character to build a skyscraper on, The Gunslingers consists of Lydia Gilman and Cody Lee Fletcher. Beginning in the 1950's, Memphis became a fountain of monumental recordings and consequential personalities. Is time something we can transcend? In 2010 we find ourselves living in an almost completely digitized world. Technology has no soul. Computers have no heart. Music created by machines is for machines. Humans look for more meaningful connections and experiences. The Gunslingers create fierce, unpredictable music reminiscent of earlier days. A music that affects your body and liberates your soul. A music delivered from another universe. Two people acting as vessels for a familiar but still indescribable mana from beyond. Do not be deceived by those who seek to lead you astray. Those who parade on stage begging you to believe in something that does not feel true. This is rock & roll. Or something like that...

"The Gunslingers are my new next prey. In 1978 I did a record on a band called The Cramps and instantly LOVED it. Though not for the faint at heart, Lux Interior was a STAR! (R I P Lux). The Gunslingers, having only heard OF them, never experiencing them, have unwittingly landed in their camp, quite to my surprise. (AND THEIRS, me thinks).
