Gold Soundz was a Philadelphia-based DJ night hosted by Dave and Neal. Dave moved to Kansas City, MO. Neal moved to Los Angeles, CA. Thanks to all the bands who played and everyone who danced. It was fun while it lasted.

We recently discussed where all the best food in Koreatown can be found. But what about all the delicious alcohol for after you're done eating? Or before you start? Whichever you prefer; we don't judge. This is strictly dive bar territory, or at least weird bar territory, whether it's pirate obsession or the presence of roasted bugs as a bar snack. Any of these places can and will make for a memorable evening.
The Bon Bon Club are Sushi Quatro (bass, vox), Thirsty Moore (drums,vox) and Chapatti Smith (perc, vox), although Sushi and Thirsty are better known under different names for their day job as the rhythm section of Sheffield glam-popsters The Long Blondes.
