THE GOBBIE WILLIAMS STORY
I'm a Robbie Williams tribute who has worked all over the UK and Europe.
I was lucky enough to live and work on the beautiful island of Cyprus for nearly three years, living between Protaras and Ayia Napa. There both places hold very dear to my heart, some of my favourtite bars, clubs and restaurants are from those areas such as The Greenery in Prot (a favourite in Winter), Linekers Bar in Napa (feed them pigeons), Nicholas Tavern in Prot, Fiji, Limelight, the japanese all in napa. Club wise my favourite two are Carwash and River Reggae in Napa.
I'm off travelling again in September for a 9 day tour of the Costa Del Sol which is going to be amazing!!
My show is based on Robbie's live performances. Its a very high energy, fast paced show. I pride myself on being very audience interactive and in being one of the finest Robbie mimics around, both in voice and in movement. Costume wise no attention to detail has been spared, as you will see at the pictures gallery on my website. The black and white look from Knebworth, the black and orange jacket from Close Encounters tour 2006 and even the tiger pants from the Rock DJ video all appear as part of the Gobbie Williams show. Tattoos also play a massive part in the look, with a mixture of real and fake ones making up my robbie, or should I say Gobbie, persona.
Since returning from Cyprus I have also taken part in Showcall Showcase, where Peter Hepple from "The Stage" said of the show, " Close your eyes, join in with Rock DJ, and you could be in Knebworth."
