This campaign to Rock the Hall for The Carpenters was organized by, and is an initiative of, GoCarpenters.com with the generous support and
assistance of concerned music fans worldwide. This truly is a grass-roots effort.
The Carpenters made a huge impact in the 1970's and to this day still have fans all around the world. During a time of hard music, war and
unrest, their music came through and touched so many lives. Even today, 24 years after Karen Carpenter's passing, new fans are emerging and
discovering the voice of an angel and beautiful arrangements.
This petition is to wake up the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and remind them that The Carpenters deserve to be recognized for their
contribution to music!
I was in 8th grade when the carpenters came to AZ and I saw them in concert. I was a fan because I was a musician and loved the harmonies. I learned how to work in a studio and do my own harmonies because of them. They were way beyond their own time in technology.

Karen Carpenter: 25 years ago today passed on but her spirit and music lives on in everyone of us who makes up the family of fans who honor her and keep the music alive.
