For what it's worth, we have been compared to Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, The Fall, Frank Black, Pavement, Pere Ubu, The Pixies, The Replacements, Richard Hell and the Voidoids, Silkworm, Simply Saucer, Sonic Youth, Television, The Velvet Underground, and Frank Zappa.
I'm not sure I agree with any of those comparisons but I'd like to think that the Voidoids comes the closest to Crackpot's asthetic.
So far, we have covered songs by Syd Barrett, The Beatles, Patsy Cline, The Damned, The Dream Syndicate, Nick Grant, Michael Jackson, Tom Jones, The Kinks, Johnny Mathis, The Monochrome Set, Elvis Presley, The Subhumans, T.Model Ford, and Neil Young.

About Crackpot:
Crackpot is an explosive, mentally guitarded, racket roll band from Montreal that made it's
debut on September 30th, 2000. Frantic pop with wonky twists and brain
damaged guitar solos played with cathartic enthusiasm and a healthy
disregard for current trends. Crackpot has a 12 song CD available and is currently working on its follow up. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

awesome show on Sunday! I think you should reunite Terminal Sunglasses, Bubblegum Army and Slaphappy 5 permanently and tour the world with them opening for Nutsak.
Thanks for stopping by and for the request. You guys sound great! Really like your stuff a lot. Got kind of a Stooges vibe, and what's not to like about that??
And it's so funny you have Kelly MacNamara as a top friend! That gave me a chuckle.
Hey! Great music and great taste you got. It would be fun to drink a couple of beer and listen to music together some time. So if you stop by in Gothenburg some day...REBOBINA
