About me:

• I live in Tennessee, but am from North Dakota originally. There's ups and downs to both. But since I like my job, I'll stay here for now.

• I have 3 pets, 2 cats and 1 small dog. I have a pet nutrition website (www.petfoodratings.net) which I've worked hard on to educate people about what's good and bad about various pet foods. Let's just say we treat our pets very well.

• I don't have any patience for stupidity, whether it be from other drivers (I have some issues with people who don't have a clue how to drive) or whether it be just from people speaking about things they know nothing about.

• I'm scared for the next generation of children, since they're being increasingly raised on video games, TV and fast food. Life expectancy is actually going DOWN!

• I love talking politics. Love it. Actually, I love talking about anything that can be considered interesting or "hot button".

• I do not enjoy talking about anything celebrity gossip-related or anything reality TV. Well, except Hell's Kitchen. Other than that though, I will have a blank look on my face if these things are brought up. (I do know, however, that Jon Gosselin is a douchebag.)

• I despise Facebook. All the "communication" there revolves around status update comments and applications. That isn't communication. That's like the McDonald's of communication, really. Whatever happened to sending messages and blogging as actually sharing ideas and thoughts?? So I'll stay here. (I do have a Facebook though for the people who REFUSE to come here anymore. I'm working on bringing them back.)

• I'm pretty sarcastic and cynical. But who wouldn't be cynical with the way the world is going?? There isn't that much rosiness on the evening news. And it could just be me, but I swear that people are becoming ruder and ruder by the day. Even though I am indeed caustic at times, I at least have manners.

• I've been married for 18 months now. She puts up with me. She doesn't really enjoy all the things I like to talk about, though. So that's why I use this for an outlet for talking about things and sharing ideas. I don't use it to pick up women.

• Speaking of that, most men are sleazy and pathetic. I've seen messages sent to girls on here from them that makes me question if they even began elementary school. It frightens me that some of those guys are even human.
