See long ago I was on my way to horror make-up school in Orlando and I got side swiped by a guy I fell in love with. Well as the sad story goes I never got to make my dreams happen. But the up side of the story was that I turned that energy into something else..
My name is MsGirt, I owned a game store in Cape Coral, I’ve run 13 large Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror Gaming Conventions in Florida with a turn out of 120 to 300 at my best. I also helped put together a Vampire Camarilla Ball in up state Florida. I have organized privet shows/cons with other people. I have run two major Live Action Role Play games and was awarded 1St place for one of them at a major Convention. I have run LARP games at Necronomicon. Not to mention the many hours spent on cheater generation for the Barking Spiders LARP games. My experience as an organizer is well known, so I would hope to think. I have learned all the in’s and out’s of constructing a Convention or Show based out of hotels from the ground up. Unfortunately with Gaming becoming for computers and in box stations, the attendance of the shows dropped and it became something of my past. But this is not saying I can’t focus my energy on something other then Gaming. All the base is still there it’s just changing the field of interest.
