Based in Mountain View, California, GODHEADSCOPE is led by composer/lyricist M.Rosin. In other times and other places, you may know him from his periodic work with Polish artist Dead Raven Choir.
GODHEADSCOPE’s first album, A City Out of Sight (God is Myth Records, 2007), featured a mysterious synthesis of ambient drone and chamber music, vocals lurking deep within the mix. This was the beginning.
On forthcoming album Threshold, GODHEADSCOPE has bloomed into sophisticated art-pop settings of Rosin’s poetry, vocals and text equal in richness and importance with instrumentation. The album also features a second vocalist, Cindy Lau, who brings roots in a cappella and an engaging pop sensibility.
Threshold is coming soon.
