The truth is a constant, it is just that we don't allow ourselves to see feel and experience it on a day to day basis. The Course in Miracles calls us to experience the awareness of love's presence right where we are now. This is my full-time job, to peek out from under my blinders and get a glimpse of the radiating love and light which is right here and right now. It is my goal to record and perform songs that tell of this experience. The songs available on this site are merely demo recordings that I have been working on in their raw form and an attempt to light a fire under my ass to finish the work that I've begun. I hope you enjoy them and any feedback at all is completely welcome. I have begun writing a few tunes that deal with sections of the Course and describe their higher truths. My goal is to hit the road and perform these songs across the country and the world. Here's for dreaming. I think that it is vastly important for each of us to put aside our little hopes and dreams, quests for achievement and goals that we think need to be achieved in order to experience our true present oneness. But how do we do this?
The following is an excerpt from the Course in a section titled I Need Do Nothing that I have been trying to comprehend.
"Your way will be diffrerent, not in purpose but in means. A holy relationship is a means of saving time. One instant spent together with your brother restores the universe to both of you. You are prepared. Now you need but to remember you need do nothing. It would be far more profitable now merely to concentrate on this than to consider what you should do. When peace comes at last to those who wrestle with temptation and fight against the giving in to sin;when the light comes at last into the mind given to contemplation; or when the goal is finally achieved by anyone, it always comes with just one happy realization; "I need do nothing."
