AKA Angus H.
Angus' past is shrouded deep in the mists of time. Reputedly the result of top-secret military testing, he's a kiling machine that walks in shadows. When not out maiming and destroying, Angus can be found behind the drumkit in KreuzDammer or making a shitload of noise as half of Kommand & Kontrol.

Terminal - Death before honour!
AKA Dave C.
The geni-arse behind bands such as Punishment State and Terminal Solution, Dave currently screams for KreuzDammer and co-runs the Armalyte label. Cor, incestuous or wot???

unhip23 - Hack, fruit loop and media junkie!
AKA gileZ M.
Began life as music journalist scum and has written for numerous magazines around the world including (but not limited to) Lowlife, Afterlife, Prospective Music Magazine, Cybase 23 Webzine, Black Velvet, Kaleidoscope, Meltdown, Organ and Raised Horns Webzine among the few he can vaguely remember. Founder and editor of seminal alt-music Zine 'fashionably UNHIP', he soon moved to Rock Sound, one of the UK's leading rock mags, where he remains today, chained-up deep in the bowels of olde London Towne. Having promoted gigs as well as DJing extensively in London, gileZ is one of the brain-wrongs behind Armalyte Industries, an artist-friendly label dedicated to spotlighting young talent, and of the geni-arses behind the DNA-Labs merch crew . In a past life he managed next-gen metal terrorists Needleye and tour managed the momentous Needleye/Interlock 'Death By Design' tour, where nothing exploded and no-one died. The same can't be said of Needleye's ill-fated 2econd Coming tour...

In The Beginning:
In the beginning was Armalyte. And it was good. A kind of label/gig promotions hybrid formed by gileZ M. and Dave C. to help facilitate and perpetuate the music they loved, the first ever Armalyte gig took place at the Camden Underworld on Saturday 3rd February, 2001 and came complete with it's own precocious subtitle; 'Violent New Breed'. Headlined by London alt-rockers Sulpher, the supporting bill featured cult Swedish noise legends The Pain Machinery, Hitchin's Punishment State and London boys Maruta Kommand. The gig went spectacularly; people turned up, everyone got paid and more gigs followed whilst the label simultaneously began to evolve from the classic 'Defcon' compilations to Haloblack's seminal 'throb.' masterpiece. The dearth of actual talent out there combined with an over-saturation of alternative music meant the gig-promotion side of Armalyte would eventually go into remission. But then, nothing's forever, and the Armalyte mantra of "Evolution Not Revolution" would ensure the beast never died...
Godlike: The Concept:
With the label itself in relatively good health, the gig itch refused to stay dormant and, with nothing better to keep us occupied, we thought it'd be a groovy idea to put on another night. 'Club Crossfire' was the result; a typically Armalyte-esque night, but with a later bar in order to move the emphasis away from live bands and more onto the DJing side of things. Let's face it, you could go to numerous so-called "alternative" nights every week but we weren't hearing the music we wanted to hear. We'd all endured tours of duty at Club Hardfloor and Pure Industrial, but they were long gone and their silence spoke volumes. Again, Club Crossfire was a resounding success, but our maximum effort for very little return meant that focussing our attention on one-off gigs would burn us out quicker than an over-clocked P166 chip. What we needed was a regular hang-out, somewhere like-minded believers could seek refuge, if only for a brief moment...

It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
I’d love to know what you’ve been up to since we disappeared into the dark damp studio cave, let us know how it’s going, I’m always up for a chat! May your thoughts be Scarlet and your actions Blonde ;-) Dawn xx Scarlet/blonde
