Godmonkey is a new and exciting record label based in the UK.
The first Godmonkey release is from SHAPES.
SHAPES debut EP 'Get Your Learn On' released May 2008 and can be purchased directly from the band for £3.00 by clicking the image on the left. Alternatively you can download it or buy the CD from any of the links also on the left.
Shapes 2nd EP 'The Pasture, The Oil' was released on May 4th, through Big Scary Monsters, with a limited edition run of eco friendly cds going out through BSM/Godmonkey later this year too.
The next release will be from new Godmonkey signings IDIOSYNC, with their stunning blend of foals-like dancability, bloc party singalongs and mars volta rhythms.
It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
