The influences, obvious literature aside, are evident in the songs. A nurtured fondness for butterbeer, Hogwarts in winter, and shows at the Leaky Cauldron (The soup's amazing).
Yay, friend! Potterock, together with The Wirzrocklopedia, Harry Potter Events and The Wizarding Wireless Network, decided to make a wizardrock band video competition.
Squeee! I really should be on my RL account to write this comment, or at least my Wrock account. Haha. Anywho. Is it possible to send you money through the mail for 'Portraits'? Mum doesn't let me use paypal. But I ASSURE you, money'd get there safely! Just let me know!
Haha, now that I probably was officially the last person to purchase your CD at it's former costs, I wanted to give you a comment about "In a Breath of Winter."
I have created a Christmas playlist and, naturally, all of the songs from the 12 days of Wrockmas so far are on that list. Earlier this morning, I was listening to that list while working on some last minute homework (yes, I'm a massive procrastinator). A song came on that I was not familiar with (which is a crazy sensation to me, with how much I listen to my Wrock music). I was caught up for a moment and realized that I had to know what song I was listening to because it was so beautiful and amazing.
Lo and behold, I turn my iPod toward me and it is your most recent contribution to the 12 Days of Wrockmas, "In a Breath of Winter"... Absolutely amazing. I just wanted to share this with you. I love your music and eagerly await the arrival of "Portraits" in the mail!
Thanks for the add and wrock on! We're "Hallows or Horcruxes?", and we've got new music up! We're wrocking chapter-by-chapter--that's right, sending some much-needed love to the older books. Check us out, give us a listen or two, and have a nice day.
"The day I bump into Paris Hilton at a WRock show is the day I hang my wand up for good."
Haha.. Alternately, you could use your wizarding powers to scare the crap out of her. Paris Hilton + levicorpus = good time for all. But I'm sure the media would use that as an excuse to lump you into a new category (shockwrock?). Ah well.
I love you guys. You have such an awe-inspiring atmostphere. Just totally preternatural. I can only hope to one day be able to write songs that have such a several sense experience as your work has.
Mate your songs are truly amazing - love the chordal progressions and melody in "The Scar" - awesome job, keep the wrock coming mate. I'd love to team up and co-create a song sometime!
