About God Showers Bring Black Flowers

God Showers Bring Black Flowers is James. It is a mix of heavy lyrical and Folk Rock/Experimental music. God Showers started in 07' with James and former memeber Craig Groat. They spent the whole year together writing and working on "Ghosts" Ep eventually leading to "Sleep Well and Dream of Me". Craig Groat recently dropped out of the music scene while James met Annie and formed Avalon Parade combining and mixing different elements of God Showers with a more delicate softer sound. Annie and James have been writing music together for a year and have been able to digitally release 5 albums and 2 Ep's. James' solo project God Showers is much more Folk influenced taking from such inspirations as Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley and Ryan Adams. James is currently working on his latest album "Charades" which will be released in the summer.
