About me:

In this world of images and soundbites and retouched photos, I'd like to live as authentically and fully as possible. This means being a mass of contradictions sometimes...it means not knowing how I feel or what I think sometimes...it means knowing sometimes and thus speaking up when I'd rather be quiet. It seems living authentically is a dance where each day I am less fake, less of a performance, less of a secret than the day before. "Not that I have attained this...but I press toward the mark..." I am thankful for all those angels in my life who pull me, kicking and screaming, toward me being as real as possible. I am rest's biggest fan, and I have learned to take rest and live rather than carry the weight of the world and be crushed by it. I miss friendships I've lost and look forward to new ones just blossoming. I love being a pastor because it is the freest, realest work I have ever been given to do.
