GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD was our attempt at cutting away the scene politics we all get caught up in from time to time, and reconnecting with that feeling you get listening to a band like Black Flag or the Decendents (you know, in a car full of friends, driving to that new skate spot with butterflies in your stomach?)
Our hope was to promote diversity and the open exchange of ideas within a scene that we feel is becoming increasingly narrow in its scope and relationship to things that matter. The songs we wrote centred on honest faith struggles and were often critical of power as an overarching theme.
We were probably the most loved, most hated, and most overrated band in our time.
