Go Funk Yourself represents the grand amalgamation of 2 of the finest shows to EVER grace the airwaves: Bangers n Mash and the short-lived The Truth. The show represents a unification of the common themes of its predecessors, namely showcasing new and exciting "dance" music while trying to stay true to the roots of that music, namely the FUNK.
Tune in on Tuesdays from 12-2 and you'll hear funk (duh), soul, RnB, hip hop, house, electro, disco, DnB, reggae, ska, dub, dubstep, rock and roll, and miscellaneous ephemera. Holding this brimming cornucopia of goodies together are FUNK and Assi's impeccable mixing techniques, punctuated by the occasional airhorn or lasershot.
