* In 2007 we played many local shows to support our 1st self titled release . In Nov. we toured Canada playing shows from Vancouver to Ottawa and back. Our CD was recorded at Fortissimo sound with Doug Fury . We are excited to bring GGT into 2008 . At this time ( summer 2008 ) we are doing pre-production with producer Skoty B. In August we will be recording material for our 2nd studio release. We are currently looking for a label . Please read the following press form our city . thank you .
marQuo and Go Ghetto Tiger
* Go Ghetto Tiger get's top marks for authenticity on this eponymous outing . Featuring devastatingly gloomy synth riffs and irresistibly danceable drum-machine beats.

* Get ready to embrace your inner cheerleader - Go Ghetto Tiger has a new self-titled cd, brought to you by MarQuo blacQuiere, Super Jason and Skoty B. GGT's eclectic blend of guitar, bass and synth interjects playful drum loops, samples and melodic vocals which sometimes parallel and sometimes surpass their influences, among them The Faint or By A Thread to Radio Berlin, MJ and Prince. The sharp melodies of Deluxe Deluxe match its percussive instumentals, sparkly and frenetic. The track Kill City Kids' spooky electronic babblings build up into a delicate groove remininiscent of Soft Cell. The Spy and the Machete interjects punctuated basslines and jagged gits with casually heated lyrics, and tempo changes, from driven to diminishing, treading precariously on soft rock jams, but evading the chasm of cheese that made us leave 80's rock behind in the first place. Touch Response blends cold math-rock percussive precision with incisive guitar, mechanical synth, warm bass and vox and the acclamation that ties it all together - this is dancing. Let GGT take you back to the future.

* If youve been lucky enough to catch one of its shows, then you know the deal; GGT is unassuming and unpredictable, always keeping you guessing about where it might turn next.

Judging by the previous post,it sounds like it was very GOOOOOOOD show!!!! And I have no doubt that it was. Wish I could have been there, damn! Hope you had A GREAT party :)
Sounds like everyone had a great time last night at Railway. I love it when the indie scene gets tighter -- everyone benefits. Enjoy your Sunday, M. (Heather)
Hope you have a great show, M, and happy early birthday! You're probably too young to remember that TV commercial that said, "It's 10:00 p.m. - do you know where your children are?"
In those days, that meant they should be in bed (or at least home), but now the answer is, "Yes, they're rocking out to Go Ghetto Tiger in the wilds of Vancouver". Give the guys in Scatterheart a high five for coming out of hibernation for me, will you? (Heather)
Hey guys that was another GREAT show, I was glad to make it out... My only complaints are that the set was too short and that I missed the bathtub session after ;) oh well maybe next time xoxo
Thank you for reply ! Now I take the induction training in my company. It is so tough, but fun too for me. If you want to send shipments to overseas, please choose DHL !
