8th Annual GoGirlsMusicFest Benefiting Operation Kindness
GoGirlsMusic.com is proud to present the 8th annual GoGirlsMusicFest, this year
benefiting animal friendly charities and organizations. We are proud to
announce that Casitas Hotel for Cats, the shelter for Kitten Rescue is the
official beneficiary for Los Angeles, CA.
Casitas
Hotel for Cats is the primary shelter facility for Kitten Rescue and is located
in East Los Angeles. Casitas Hotel for Cats houses over
150 cats in enclosures and several community rooms. Volunteers supplement a full
time staff in providing care, love and intense socialization. They
currently house seven cats with Feline Leukemia in a specially dedicated
area for leukemia cats. Founded in 1997, Kitten Rescue is Los Angeles’ largest
cat rescue organization, with over 150 volunteers. Kitten Rescue (www.kittenrescue.org) is
an all volunteer, non‑profit, no-kill organization devoted to finding loving new
homes for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens.

About GoGirlsMusicFest
Madalyn Sklar, founder of GoGirlsMusic.com, created GoGirlsMusicFest, a series
of annual showcase events across the United States. The festival promotes
independent women in music while supporting various charities which have
included MusiCares, Rock n Roll Camp for Girls, American Liver Foundation,
Nicole Brown Charitable Foundation and more. Since 2000, over 85 all-volunteer
run shows have taken place throughout the U.S.

The Los Angeles GoGirlsMusicFest is looking for volunteers and assistance with the
following items.
- Printing (cost of posters, flyers, handbills)
- Postering (put up posters, distribute flyers and handbills)
- Raffle/Auction Donation Items
- Volunteers to work the event the day of the show (Merch Table and Door)
