How are you? I just got the T-shirts I ordered for the NYC Musical Saw Festival. I'm excited about the logo: What do you think? I hope you can join us at the festival on Saturday, July 18th, 2pm at Trinity Church, 31-18 37th street, Astoria (Queens), NYC.
I would like to share some exciting news: after a long application process, the NYC Musical Saw Festival was approved by the Guinness Book of Records to attempt to break the current world record for the 'Largest Musical Saw Ensemble'. The current world record (set in Poland last year) is 27 musical saw players playing together. Could we set a new world record on July 18th? We need your help for it! Please join us and be part of a Guinness World Record breaking attempt at the 7th annual NYC Musical Saw Festival: When: Saturday, July 18th, 2pm Where: Trinity Church, 37th street corner of 31st Avenue, Astoria (Queens), NYC. Admission: $10 Info: www.MusicalSawFestival.org
For the Guinness World Record attempt all sawists will be playing 2 pieces together (in what we call the 'Chorus of the Saws'): Ave Maria/Schubert - accompanied by church organ Over the Rainbow - accompanied by piano The 'Chorus of the Saws' will be conducted by Scott Munson.
Hope to see you there, and please - pass the info on - we need to get as many musical saw players to participate as possible to set a new Guinness World Record!
This year’s NYC Musical Saw Festival is scheduled for July 18, 2009, 2pm. It sure would be great if you could participate! I know, traveling to NYC is not easy... but may be some year... it would be nice to meet you!
Just thought I'd let you know that that gorgeous flower you gave me is sitting in water in a little jar labeled "rhubard-pineapple jam" Looking forward to hanging out!
that's a lie.. I actually do HW now.. so in real life I'm busy all the time.. but I do tend to deter away from my hw quite often to be on myspace, facebook, etc etc.
I'm doing really good though.. I finally brought up the guts to pawn the jewelry my ex gave me. They told me it was low quality (surprise surprise) and i was very proud of my witty response "so was the guy who gave it to me" haha so I've been doing a lot better because thinking of him dragged me down a lot.. Now I'm focused on school, and ya know.. hopefully getting a regular job. I talk to much via comment.. text/call me if you're ever bored! I try not to avoid the whole family like my Dad does... I kinda want to beat him for that. NEXT TIME (I'll probably be 21) and we'll have a drink or 15..
plans sounds like a smart way to do it, I totally need an excuse to get out of the city, so I'm down to come to you. Also I just sent Zoey an email :D Let me know when you're freeee!
soo, I'm pretty sure.. that you never called me when you got back from upstate.. I think I said I was going to beat you if you didn't? But with you being so far away it proves difficult for me to kick your ass for not spending time with your cousin.
So... we have been myspace friends for years now, and I don't really know you(I'm pretty sure it was a random "oh, this person looks cool" friending...but I saw some of your work, and I wanted to say that I really enjoyed it! Next time you do a show, I am so there. --emma
