DJ GogoleV (Kirill Gogolev, born in 1988, Moscow) is one of the brightest young Moscow DJ’s that show considerable promise on Russian electronic scene. From the very childhood Kirill has been infatuated by music. He attended musical school and learned to play piano, then he switched his attention to playing guitar which was considerable part of street culture of the 1990s. He had been always experimenting on melodies trying to compose his own music and to go out of the borders. First breaths of Russian club culture, first night parties helped Kirill realize that being a DJ,creating the atmosphere and giving people love and happiness on the dance floor that’s what he had always wanted to be.
His first steps in front of the turntables were made under the guidance of PROFF who had noted Kiril’s gift and gave him first lessons of mixing. Kirill started to play and compose music making his own compositions. Since 2006 he has already released several very promising mixes and played as invited DJ on dance radio stations, open airs and clubs and deserved his honored name of DJ GogoleV.
DJ GogoleV plays emotional sets fascinatingly combining Electrohouse/Electroclash, House and Progressive House eliminating the distinctions between styles. His compositions help to find new horizons in the infinite space of harmony.
