Bio
The Yes Album: 40th Anniversary Celebration.... During the fall of 1970, the members of Yes entered the studio to record their third album. Released in early 1971, The Yes Album became one of the band's classic records and began a string of fantastic albums that would make them the leaders of the burgeoning progressive rock movement. In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of that important and ground-breaking album, Going for the One will perform The Yes Album in its entirety and in running order, along with other Yes tracks from Fragile, Close to the Edge, and Going for the One. .... Going for the One is America's premier Yes tribute, celebrating the music of one of rock history's most important and inspired bands. The band consists of Jimmy Warlick (vocals), John Covach (guitar), Chris Meeker (bass), Matt Riddle (keyboards) and Mark Annal (drums). This quintet of virtuoso musicians vividly recreates the power and energy of live 1970s-era Yes concerts with all of the instrumental prowess and vocal elegance that makes that music so exciting. If you’re a fan of Yes music, this is a concert you definitely do not want to miss! .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. -
