Pembrokeshire Old Time festival, 'Going to the West Fest', is the brain-child of two Pembrokeshire-based old time enthusiasts, Jackie and Jo. It will be West Wales' first ever Old Time American dance music festival, bringing to west Wales bands and artists that otherwise would not visit this region. It will take place JUNE 13-15TH 2008 in the village of Angle, right on the end of the south Pembrokeshire peninsula.
Angle has a great village hall that is just the perfect size with a lovely wooden floor for dancing! Just round the corner is the camp site, and down the road there is a static caravan site if anyone doesn't fancy camping... this is also right next to the beach. Down the road in the other direction is Freshwater West beach, renowned for its complex and mature sand dunes and its excellent surfing!
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with an interest in old time music and dance, and anyone who's interested in the festival! People who like to dance, sing and play music til sunrise.
Thanks for all your support! The show went really well at the Laugh Factory, and the turnout was great!

We are delighted that this great comedic performer can join our line-up.
