Sounds Like
Joe Strummer firing members of The Sonics from an artillery cannon towards a Las Vegas boxing match between Chuck Berry and Screamin' Jay Hawkins, refereed by AC/DC's Bon Scott whilst Dick Dale and his Del-Tones play Misirlou as Jimi Hendrix and James Brown do the boogaloo with Wilson Pickett and Sam & Dave in a Jack Rabbit Slims-esque dance competition judged by Bruce Forsyth.

Calling all Mods & Rockers!
Go Johnny Go are back.
The "Tinnitus Two", Citizen Lane and Tommy Gunn are about to release the new EP entitled Mod Suits, Quiffs and Rock n Roll Riffs.
Featuring five new tracks and two covers, this is a real treat for the followers of their "Gonzo Speed Blues" sound.
The are songs of protest again, such as The Smokin' Song, an "up yours" to the absurdity of a Nanny State; songs of dark moodiness with a 1950's twang in the number Beck & Call and songs cooked at Gas Mark Rock for an hour like Gonzo Speed Blues penned by drum beast Mr Tommy Gunn.
For fans of the late anti-establishment comedian Bill Hicks, the number Surfin' The Lake of Fire will ring true to those who'd rather Rock in eternity with dead Rock n Rollers in Hell than listen to - as Hicks would've said - "The fucking Backstreet Boys".
The Sonny Boy Williamson/Yardbirds cover I Wish You Would hark back to the days when Brighton's seafront was full of the sound of deckchairs being broken against the heads of Mods & Rockers.
To Have and To Have Not is a live favourite where The GJG Boys give a nod to fellow Clash fan Billy Bragg.
So buy as many Clash albums your Mum's pocket money will allow, pack your Rockabilly/Mod 45's and put on your brothel creepers/winklepickers, cos it's time to boogie on down to Go Johnny Go!
“They carry a smart echo of early rock & roll rebellion, as if he's about to flick the Vs at some daddyios by the second chorus” – John Earls, Teletext Planet Sound“Raw and Unusual” - Musonet Brighton“Go Johnny Go rock like beasts as if they were born straight into leather romper suits" - Brighton Source Magazine"These muthas are da shit, innit?" - His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI NB: We may have made that last one up...
