Who I'd like to meet: Roller Derby brings people together from all walks of life to form strong friendships and get fit playing a stategic full contact entertaining sport.
Skaters: 18+ any shape or size, either gender, any career, any style, any skating level, mums- whatever! so long as you have an open mind and a friendly honest attitude & are ready to bring your own ideas to the committee table
REFEREES: WILL YOU BE LOVED OR REVILED? referees, officials and volunteers MALE OR FEMALE take on their own derby personas and get involved. You will be as much a part of the sport as the skaters!
ABOUT US:
Gold Coast Roller Derby is the 10th league in Australia, and the third in Queensland. We will always be NON PROFIT DIY- we skate where we want to skate and buy our gear where we want to buy it!!
Currently we skate at Runaway Bay, Cararra, and negotiating for Tallebudgera or Tweed. Freshmeat are always welcome, males and females. Limited skates and (stinky pads for hire for the ladies), so please book in advance!
If you are interested in joining our league as a skater, referee or volunteer, please dont be shy.

hey, im going to say there will be 2 of us for friday night i will know by tomorrow if there will be a third. how much is it to hire skates and gear again?
