DAVID's 18th BIRTHDAY - December 28th
Golden Archies donated "David Archuleta" CDs to 50 kids at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City in honor of David's birthday. Additional cash donations made in his honor totalled $750 and have been designated for use in the hospital's musical therapy program.
The CDs HAVE BEEN SIGNED by DAVID! (ohmyGosh!) Pics of him signing the CDs as well as the delivery of them to PCMC are posted in our pics album "Birthday Project" here on mySpace
This is an international project with contributors from Denmark to Singapore, with a "shout out" to our local Salt Lake GA's Evelyn and Louise for their assist in coordinating getting the CDs prepared, signed and delivered.
The Golden Archies extend our deepest thanks to Brett Hales for coordinating the contact, Jeff Archuleta for his immediate and enthusiastic positive response and of course DAVID for being gracious enough to sign them all!

This is a place for David Archuleta Fans, age 35 years and older who want to participate in a forum with other adults. Most of our members are in their forties or fifties. Many have children David's age or older! We hail from Utah and Texas... to Denmark and Singapore!
Our original forum was established to maintain friendships formed on the American Idol boards during David's rise to fame on American Idol. "Older" Archies found most forums and sites catered toward the teen aged fan. Even now, main fansites do not offer a private forum just for adults.
What sets us apart from other forums? Our GROUP DISCUSSION FORUM (BOARDS)are PRIVATE, so they can only be viewed and posted to by approved members... other adult "Golden" Archies! We are a bit more like a "family" than a "fan club"!
In addition to our private discussion forum/board, we have periodic live chats. Currently they are held at 3:00 PM CST every Sunday. If you are over 35 and feel more comfortable sharing with other adults, at a leisurely pace rather than in the rapid-fire chats with the teens, then we welcome you!
What we are NOT is a "news source" for David.
Our members participate in and support Fans of David, Archuleta Fan Scene,David's Official Website and of course David's official mySpace as the most reliable sources for "David news".
Every day we welcome new Friends, delighted to find a forum to discuss the latest news and share their "O.D.D." (Obsessive David Disorder) with other "afflicted" adults!

Thanks for adding me as your Friend . It's great chatting with you all about our Beloved Archie . I am so proud of his Success , he has worked so hard to get here and we can Celebrate his Success with him . Nov 11th , I can't hardly wait to get that CD in my hands . The Ladies at the New GA Forum & this one have been great , since I'm new to the Group and still learning how to do this Computer Technology . This is my 1st time ever getting a myspace page and I did it for Archie , so I can dedicate my page to him , keep up with his wherabouts , add him as a friend and to read his Blog .
