About me:
A.K.A DJ Golden A.K.A Anna Errberrtson (in France) A.K.A BOnana. Choreographer, dancer and teacher.
BASIC FACTS: Adopted from South Korea, grew up on an island in the Baltic sea called Gotland (yes I'm island people :). Been livin in Stockholm and Brussels, now I can be found in Brooklyn, NYC.
ABOUT DANCE: Well I started out by doin the "bird-dance" when I was a couple of months old.. Began takin classes when I was seven. During my first year I took a course that consisted of a wild mix of mambo, bugg, hiphop and swedish folkdance. After that I focused mostly on jazz and hiphop. Started teaching in 1998. Got really into dancehall/ragga around 2001, since then I've been choreographing mostly hiphop and "Dancehall fusion". I like to mix Jamaican dancehall with different carribbean dances, african, reggaeton/latin and oriental. When it comes to hiphop I choreograph mostly what people call "new school" or "new style". Both in hiphop and "Dancehall Fusion" I get inspiration from the foundational moves/dances. Those are my base and then I create my own choreo from that. I'm constantly striving for originality & musicality.
I've always had a thirst for knowledge.. Knowledge of dance, languages, history, people, music, different cultures, life...
....
Who I'd like to meet: Positive and inspiring people from all over the planet.
