Every Monday for the last 11 years, The Golden Fleece has handed over the reigns to acclaimed local musicians for its legendary Open Mic Night. The long-established standard is high but anyone who believes they can cut the mustard should sign up before 8.00pm. Following the Open Mic musicians are 30 minute sets by acclaimed singer songwriters.
To please Nottinghams nerd contingent (and theres a geek in us all, lets face it), LeftLion host the Golden Fleece Quiz Night every Wednesday from 8.30pm. Fancy yourself as a brainiac? Then put your onions to the test.
Thursdays are live music night featuring a great selection of bands. Music kicks of around 9pm.
Friday and Saturday nights feature a variety of DJ's playing hip hop, broken beat, disco, house, drum and bass, funk, reggae, rocksteady, ska and dub.
Sunday's, chill out with a 'Reggae Roast' during the day followed by alternating live jazz and Brazilica Latin Funk on Sunday nights. | | Record Label | Unsigned |

Based on Mansfield Road it's been two years since The Golden Fleece has been taken over and tastefully refurbished. Now the feeding and watering hole serves a variety of real and guest ales, world beers, choice wines and cocktails, organic spirits and fair trade coffee.
The food, like the décor, is traditional with a contemporary feel. As well as the best Sunday roast in town and hearty platters for the hungry carnivore, theres a generous selection of thoughtful vegetarian dishes and vegan options too. Ingredients are all fresh, and locally-sourced wherever possible. Foods served from 12-7 Mon - Sat and 12-6 on a Sunday.
The Golden Fleece is central enough to kick off a night in town. Likewise, its far enough from the madness to soothe a sore head the next day. For first class music, wholesome food or just a drink and a yarn, let the Golden Fleece shepherd you into your comfort zone.
