Hey Serengeti! Me and my friends back in LA love your flows. For a while there, we put I Don't Know on blast like every saturday morning. I'm in Chicago this weekend. Are you playing out anywhere?
what's really good savage? Happy birthday man. Did not know that you and Grillage shared the same b-day. Oh well. Hope you're doing fine. Cooking up some drafts for the coverings. Yodel at me when you get a chance. Be safe. -80
The debut self-titled album from hip-hop artist Serengeti and Hi-Fidel. After years of making art apart; Serengeti, diluted to fits of schizophrenia in the form of Kenny, the Emo kid, and Derek. All of which are featured on the four complete albums he dropped in 2007 (Check Dennehy, Race Trading, Thunder Valley, and Don't Give Up).
Hi-Fidel is now Fro-Hawk Two-Feathers a mystic artist whose latest LP as Hi-Fidel is "FF Express: The Company of Wolves (2007)".
Now they're finally together. But only for one night. Friday Night. Hands down the greatest night of the entire week. As Big Boi of Outkast once quoted on ATLeins, "Friday's are tight but Saturday just makes is old." So hold on to it as longs as you can. With that said, the whole album takes place on Friday Night, with all of its mischief's and downfalls. The album is entirely produced by Grilla of Art Thugs based in Los Angeles. The first single "PSR (P*$$y Sales Records)" is nothing but fun, exposing what it is to live in Friday Night. Getting fresh, hot music, girls (with too much dependence), and of course good "beverages".
The catch is, is that both are known for their seemingly depressing lyrics, so it's fresh and optimistic to hear them on the opposite end working for a common cause. And that is giving the world two of the best emcees out of Chicago on one disk in the hopes of exposing Friday Night for all that it is, and you all know, oh so well.
score! i've been wanting to have me and my ipod on my page for a while. one day i'll get your shit off itunes. for now, i just have to bump those weird ass 2 minute snippets off the mr. north tape.
