Golden State is a rock band hailing from Los Angeles; spawning songs that are sure to become timeless classics by pushing the boundaries of emotional highs and lows.

Their latest work, GOLDEN RULE E.P. is a collection of massive songs fit for an arena. Feet planted solidly on the ground, we find ourselves surrounded by soaring anthems. And choruses that carry "reverb drenched harmonies" accompanied by James Grundlers' own "sweeping vocals and hopeful lyrics" (Rewritable Content 2006).

Grammy Award winning Producer of the Year JOHN SHANKS lends a hand in co-writing and producing their guaranteed-smash-hits "EVEN IF YOU CAN'T SEE ME" and "THE STATIC BETWEEN US." Both of which set a sparkling new standard for pure musical brilliance.

But this isn't the first time grammy-award winning producers have been involved. The band's lead singer and songwriter, JAMES GRUNDLER that has also worked with the bearded beastie known as RICK RUBIN.

Grundler's past performances have gained the respect of his peers such as ELTON JOHN, BONO, and SCOTT WIELAND. Though its his ventures in Golden State that raise the bar, as a musician and songwriter, to deliver the best work of his career.

And after a stint of battling up hill, and being in the wrong place at the wrong time, James was forced into seclusion; only to redefine the sound that somany people have known and loved. Now, he is back with a new lust for life and a gigantic sound that knows no boundaries...this is the GOLDEN STATE.
