The government annouced that it's changing the national symbol to a condom bc it accurately relects the goverment's political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks and give u a sense of security while ur actually being screwed. Sounds about right.

For those of you who do not know, I coach a wonderful group of 21 cheerleaders who represent the City of Cranston, known as the Edgewood Eagles. This is a group of young women, from all different backgrounds, cultures and ethnic heritages. Their dedication and inspiration has made them all they can be.
These 21 young women have been involved in the Pop Warner Organization, some of them, since they were 5 years old. This team has grown together, battled adversity and overcome situations that I pray some of us will never have to go through. Last year, these kids had no uniforms, and this community came together and supplied these girls with uniforms, and an opportunity to compete with some of the best teams in the nation, never forgetting where they came from and what it took for them to realize their dreams. In 2007, they were the Rhode Island State Champions as well as Grand Champions. This year, 2008, these ladies were again Rhode Island State Champions as well as Grand Champions for the 2nd year in a row.
This team has practiced week after week for a chance to be considered the best team in the nation. These 21 girls did compete again November 22nd for a chance to go on to compete for a national title in Disney World. They placed 2nd in the competition, making them the only team from RISMA ( Rhode Island and Southern Massachussets) to earn a spot to cheer in Disney. For most of us in this struggling economy, we could turn away, and say " there will be other times for these kids." But, sadly, that's not the case. Only two teams every year, from New England, get this opportunity. And for some of these kids, this is, at ages 14-16, their first plane ride, and their first chance to experience the magic of Disney World. For them, it's more than just a cheerleading competition. It's a lifetime memory that they may not experience without our help.
