The Gold Seal Project was established in 2005 and offers music and creative arts tuition extending from the independent record label Gold Seal Recordings. Our focus is to deliver accredited workshops to people that have traditionally struggled with education and employment and those from underpriveleged backgrounds, providing a safe and flexible environment for people to create, explore and learn.
All workshops are seperated into units and are validated by one of the UK's largest qualification agencies AQA (www.aqa.org.uk). This has allowed us to deliver units with outputs the same as entry level certificates through to levels 1, 2 and 3. In the pipe line for 2007, we are negotiaiting and exploring the potential to deliver level 3 courses to help partner with Thames Valley University offering the chance for our top acheivers to progess into foundation and undergraduate degrees. We have also developed and written exclusive units and courses for industry figures such as Stanton, FL Studio 6, Propellorhead's Reason 3.0 and AKAI PRO's MPC and Alesis.
Much of our success stems from a dedicated team of professionals all of whom are seasoned industry top dogs that have masses of experience and knowledge of the music industry sector. We pledge to deliver the skills based around every individuals needs in a supportive and positive environment. Check out our top 24 friends for some of our tutors and their experience. Our unique approach to education and friendly and informal method has allowed us to nurture some of the hottest talent that will emerge from London. Our greatest case study to date is the 'set to blow' artist on Gold Seal Recordings at present - 3 Face. 3 Face joined us in 2003 through a youth offending team and is working testament to our programme. He has achieved numerous qualifications, performed at a wide catalogue of PA's and venues, completing mixtapes, debut singles, music videos and also helped with a range of workshops to help give a little back with the team that have initially supported him. A role model with a professional attitude and well set for his industry takeover. You heard it here first!!
We target the whole of the capital and our clients include youth offending teams, youth inclusion programmes, pupil referral units, substance abuse teams, homeless shelter sites, exclusion schools, custodial referral units and a variety of charities that help disadvantaged folk in London.
All the tracks that you hear are testiment to the programme we run, will have been recorded by the students themselves and show how we make a constructive impact with a strong emphasis on content and quality.
