Soul Out has also performed with Dalon Collins, who is a former lead singer for Kirk Franklin and The Family, which was a perfect union. The group went on to perform with Donald Lawrence and The Tri-City Singers, Byron Cage, Tonex, John P. Kee, Percy Bady, Men of Standard, LeJuene Thompson, and Donnie McClurkin. With Gods favor and blessings, Goldsmith and Soul Out won "Best New Artist of the Year" at the 2001 Reflection Awards in High Point, North Carolina; one month later they won "New Artist of the Year" at the Waljo Peoples Choice Awards. Soul Out also made their acting debut in the hit play "Alone" written by Marc Jones for Tri-Central Productions.
