These are the midpoints between the solstices, when the length of days and nights is changing fast, yet they are equal in length, sunrise to sundown. These are times of transition and release of rampant change. At spring equinox the restraining influences of winter give way, and plants, animals and people take it upon themselves to go forward pursuing their individual interests, mutating and growing as each they can. There is nothing hidden or mysterious about the quarter points (solstices and equinoxes): the only veils between us and understanding the quarter points are the veils of our OWN AWARENESS. Astrology can be learned directly from life itself – which is how the first astrologers did it.
