About me: Jay Williams, PGA Member & Host of “Golf it Up Radio”
I am a 20-year PGA of America Member and the Director of Golf at Briar Leaf Golf Club in LaPorte, Indiana. I've been involved in golf since the age of five, and have worked continuously in the golf business since the age of 15. Upon graduating from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State) where I attended on a full golf scholarship, I turned professional and explored the possibility of playing the game for a living.
When that didn’t pan out, I happily turned to the life of a club professional, and have enjoyed working in the golf business ever since.
I host “Golf it Up Radio,” a golf themed variety show that
is heard across Northern Indiana and the south suburbs of Chicago. The show is fun and fast paced and I hope that you'll check out our website www.golfitupradio.com where you can check out all of the "good stuff," and listen to all of our archived shows.
..
Who I'd like to meet: I'm always looking to grow Golf it Up! Radio and would like to meet program directors of radio stations that are interested in picking up our show. This is our fourth year on the air and we're getting great response from our listeners.
I'd also like to meet others that host talk radio shows, especially golf related shows.
Listen to our show online and if you've got some good stuff, a golf-related business or just a good story and want to be on the show, let me know at jay@golfitupradio.com.
Oh yeah, and I'd like to meet Tiger Woods, Annika Sorenstam, Natalie Gulbis, Phil Mickelson, Paula Creamer and Lorena Ochoa...and not particularly in that order.

Great show...keep raising the bar with quality local programming! I probably can't say that I listen...so I won't. But if I could...I did and it was entertaining.
NW Indiana should be proud to have a program like this on local radio.
