Goliath Bird Eater formed in late 2003. After writing songs in solitude, Guitarist Bobb Bruno (polar goldie cats, the for carnation), met drummer Jeremy Villalobos (Wives) and started playing shows. In 2005, they recorded their debut cd "Blood Venus" which was released on Not Not Fun mid 2006. Villalobos moved away and former Upsilon Acrux & Bad Dudes drummer Jesse Appelhans has replaced him.
I didn't know this record was distributed Bobb! I saw it in Rough Trade off Brick Lane the other day. Thankfully I already have it Soulseeeeeeeeked and also the tape you gave me whilst you were dead on your birthday bed. Much missing and love.
