Gomes has been one of the top players since the beginning of UK Garage here in Holland He became the resident at Speedfreax (1 garage event in Now& Wow in Rotterdam), but also were he a much-booked name at rave’s like ..2StepsAhead' (Hemkade, Zaandam), Splendid (Powerzone, Amsterdam), Ministry or Sound (Netherlands), Crossover, Juice, Glow, and did he do his own Night called: Ice cream (Sinners) & Cream Fresh (club Arena) Nowadays Gomes still does some (oldskool) garage bookings on request by organizations and parties like “Nope is Dope” (Powerzone & Off Corso), B.O.S.S. (Paradiso, Amsterdam), The Garage (Jimmy Woo) & Molotov (Club Arena)
Between 2000 – 2002, newer and darker sounds derived from the garage scene. Subgenres like ‘Dubstep’ and ‘Grime’ were created and even though the majority of garageheadz kept going to the same sounds, parties and everything, Gomes was more attracted to these darker sounds.
Causes the sound was played nowhere else Gomes started his own Night in Amsterdam’s paradiso called Oi! (5 years ago) now Gomes has played on almost every dubstep & grime related Night like: Support act of Dizzee rascal & Wiley (Melkweg) Lethal B (schouwburg) 05 days off (Amsterdam) Sonic Warfare, London Night, Subway (Rotterdam) STRP Festival, Dub Infussions, Lockdown & Dubstep a Go Go.
Gomes also concentrate on the UK he played in a couple of clubs in the English capital (The Brink and Jojo' s) and Leicester (club 361) and earlier this year he played in Dublin & Praque. Nowadays Gomes has a focus on producing tracks under the name “G-man”. He has made quite few tracks that are circulating within the Dubstep scene, mostly happening in the UK. His tracks are played by legends like Dj Chef (Rinse.FM), Plastician (BBC Radio1) DJ Wonder & Dj Cameo (BBC1Xtra). He has released a couple of tracks one track together with Mc Vin-e helped by an initiative of the Dutch Pop Institution (NPI), where they released a compilation CD with unknown artists, called “Push the Buttons
he released a Grime EP on the Black Ops label. Made a track with MC D-Double-E Come Like the man from the label of Dizzee Rascal Dirtee Stank recordings, He has been recorded some tracks with Bang Bang(album learning curve with Kubus) with Dio (opposites) and with Lyrical Roysten & Shy rock (ex Postman & Amo-lab). In 2008 the there whas the launch of Oi! Records with the first release of Gomes aka G-Man, and in 2009 there whas the release of Gomes on the uk label Subsonik Records
Gomes is a man with a mission, and that’s converting as many people as possible to the Dubstep/Grime sounds. One of his tools (next to producing) is a bimonthly night over at Paradiso, called “Oi!” that’s runs for over 5 years now, true the years many big artist played on this night some names: Skream, Digital Mystikz, n-type, chef, Skepta, Benga, Macabre Unit, Tes-La-Rok, Plastician, Jon-E-cash, D-Double-E, Caspa, Newham generals & Nasty Crew, Jammer & Youngsta and the Rinse FM crew . With this night he wants to showcase both Dutch & English artists. Another tool is his radio show “Oi Pirate radio” which used to be on for 3 years on VPRO’s 3voor12.nl, but has recently been moved to Lijn5.com, there you can hear him every last Saturday of the month educating the masses.

The notorious international Poison Dart, based in Tampa , Florida (
US A) will tour Europe this fall.
Poison Dart, in the sound system business from 1993, created quite a
stir on the international sound system scene shortly following their friendly -
yet competitive - dub fi dub with Killamanjaro and Ricky Trooper in Orlando on
June 5, 1996. In the years since, Poison Dart has represented the USA in
several World Clashes defending their turf with deep dubbox.
Owner Kirky C’s sharp selections and MC Mad Rass a.k.a. Taranchyla
with his razor sharp speech. Poison Dart made an everlasting impression on
European audiences recently alongside Tek-9 Movements representing the USA in
the Tag Team Clash "War Ina East" in the Netherlands where they
nearly snatched away the trophy from Europe ’s top sounds Sentinel &
Supersonic.
Now Kirky C and Mad Rass will showcase their skills and the true
