Industrys 2009. ... The G.o.M! band have been playing their special brand of music since the end of 2007 when Jim (guit, vox, songwriting), K-ball (Drums, Vox) & Brayling (bass)formed what they hoped to be a funk/jam band. Little did they know a freak lack of inspiration would lead to them playing an ever changing blast of styles taking advantage of the unfinished songs Jim had written over the years. Members come & go (mainly guitarists!) giving the band many sounds & flavors. Other playaz include frontman, vocalist & percussionist 'Bunter', past guitarists Blake, Chewey & Tracy (the latter 2 being quite short lived (although a brief appearance @ our last gig by Tracy does make us wonder!))& Luke keyboards & melodika. The newest member of the G.O.M! band is Rob, another guitarist of whome is much better behaved. The G.O.M! band is a live band. Each practice is a little show where they experiment with the music, inventing new bits of the songs they play creating ever evolving pieces. When on stage they try to bring something different with them, making manikin dance partners, telling stories or pimpin out members via text, there's always something going on @ a G.O.M! gig. The G.O.M! band are currently looking to play gigs, events & festivals in the South West & possibly further afield. All the members of the G.O.M! band except Bunter have played in various local gigging bands over the past 8 years including ‘The FluF’ www.thefluf.co.uk & the ‘Sea Street Urchins’ www.myspace.com/seastreeturchins (Jim, K-ball & Luke (S.S.U)), King Tuts Revenge http://www.ktr.org.uk (Brayling) & Tumbleweed www.myspace.com/tumbleweedyeovil (Rob).
