Gomorra Beach è un'unità collettiva mossa da furia e disperazione. Per questo Gomorra Beach è Hardcore.
Gomorra Beach incorpora le lentezza esasperante di un monolite fatto di rovine, di una massa oscura aggrovigliata in un movimento convulso ma schiacciante e ripetitivo. Per questo Gomorra Beach è Doom.
Gomorra Beach fa uso di rumori e scorie della società dei consumi. Per questo Gomorra Beach è Industrial, per questo Gomorra Beach è Noise.
Gomorra Beach è nichilismo attivo, crede nell'individuo e nell'anarchia, crede che esorcizzare demoni personali sia il gesto più politico possibile.
Gomorra Beach ha adottato questo nome in onore e in scempio al luogo dove siamo nati: un nido che diventa prigione.
Ci siamo uniti nell'aprile 2005 con una formazione a tre: Francesco (voce, basso), Luigi (voce, chitarra) e Simone (batteria), ma la mutazione non era completa. Ci siamo presto disfatti di Simone per sostituirlo con due menti molto più simili alle nostre: Leonardo (elettronica, batteria) e Daniele (percussioni, elettronica). Da questa formazione, nel gennaio 2006, nasce il primo EP: "Parossismo", vicino alle sonorità di Sonic Youth, Big Black, Swans. Post punk deviante, con una forte tendenza al ritmo funk brutalizzato ma anche all'ipnosi e al rallentamento. La mutazione non è ancora completa, decidiamo di liniziare a fare un uso sempre maggiore dell'improvvisazione, di estremizzare tutto, incoraggiati dall'esempio di gente come Sunn O)), Neurosis e Wolf Eyes. Soprattutto dal vivo iniziamo ad allestire quello che abbiamo ironicamente chiamato "teatro espressionista hardcore", un balletto artaudiano di fuoco e metallo. La lentezza, la reiterazione e il rumore ossessivo sono il nostro linguaggio, ma la mutazione non è tuttora completa. Ci auguriamo che non lo sia mai.

Gomorra Beach embodies the exasperating slowness of a monolith made of ruins, of a dark mass lost in a convulse but slow, repeating movement. That's why Gomorra Beach is Doom. Gomorra Beach uses noises and wastes prduced by the consumer society. That's why Gomorra Beach is Industrial Music. That's why Gomorra Beach is Noise. Gomorra Beach is active nihilism, it believes in the individual and anarchy, it believes that exorcising your personal demons is the most political act of all. Gomorra Beach adopted this monicker as a homage and as an insult to the place where we were born: a sheleter that turns into a prison. We got together in april 2005 as a three-piece combo: Francesco (vocals, bass guitar), Luigi (vocals, guitar) and Simone (drums), but the evolution wasn't complete yet. We soon got rid of Simone and replaced him with two minds that are much more similar to ours than his: Leonardo (drums, electronics) and Daniele (percussions, electronics). This Lineup gave birth to its first EP, entitled "Parossismo" in january 2006, it is composed of sounds that resemble those of Swans, Sonic Youth and Big Black. Deviant Post-Punk, often led by brutalized funk beats, but also frequently getting hypnotic and slow. Again, the evolution was not complete, we decided to go further on our improvisational side, to take our music to the extremes, encouraged by the example of acts like Sunn O)), Neurosis and Wolf Eyes. Most important thing, we started to develope what we ironically called a "hardcore expressionist theatre" style of live performing, an Artaudian ballet of fire and metal. Slowness, repetition and obsessive noise are the means of our expression, but still the evolution is yet to be completed. We hope it never will.
