This clip includes footage from last years Black Lily Film Festival. The music performances were filmed at The World Cafe in Philadelphia and was the most fun two days of shooting last year!
Paul Mooney -- Need I say more?
ReelBlack TV recently interviewed Gabrielle Union dring the promotion of her latest film, A PERFECT HOLIDAY. She was a great interview. I haven't seen the movie, but was more than satisfied meeting her.
This clip is an interview with the director of the new film, THE HIP HOP PROJECT, Kazi. It was produced by Mike D for REELBLACK TV. I shoot many of ReelBlack's productions, and will be including available segments on my page.
This clip is an interview I shot with Mike D. and Monica "The Mama With The Drama" Peters for Reelblack TV. It is of R&B crooner AVANT speaking about his singing career, and of starring in the new off-Broadwy play, MY BROTHER MARVIN.
I was very happy to shoot this interview of Kerri Washington for REELBLACK TV. She is speaking about her recently released film I THINK I LOVE MY WIFE, directed by Chris Rock. It has so far been a sadly overlooked film. Seek it out!!
This performance from R&B group KINDRED was a joy to behold. Our crew filmed this exclusive footage for REELBLACK TV. It happened at Philadelphia's FIVE SPOT nightclub (of Black Lily fame), which tragically burned down a few weeks later, making this performance that much more special.

This clip is a live montage produced by KGI Media. I was one of the videographers at this excellent show performed by I Yahn I Arkestra for their CD release party. We used 3 live cameras, two video mixers, two laptops and lots of layers to produce these images.
This interview of actor HILL HARPER, produced for REELBLACK TV was shot during his promotion of his book LETTERS TO A YOUNG BROTHER and during promotion of his recently released movie PREMIUM, also starring Dorian Missick and Zoe Saldana. This wide ranging sement shows that Hill Harper is quiite an uncommon actor.

I shot this interview of reggaeton artist, PITBULL for WHO?MAG TV. He graciously gave us his time during a photo shoot to speak about his beginnings as an artist, his goals and some politics thrown in too. I think he is an artist to watch.
Philly's own, Omilio Sparks, speaking on making his own way in the business (with a little live studio session thrown in). Presented by WHOMAG TV.
This video, directed by Zeb Stokes, with me as the shooter, was a lot of fun to make. Jamel Weeks is one of Philly's young turks, and with the release of his new album, the brass ring may be there for him to grab. Keep watching.
The incomparable Ursula Rucker performs "Supa Sista", accompanied by Tim Motzer in an unplugged performance. This is a deleted scene from the Reelblack produced film, POET, a film profiling Ms. Rucker.
This is the trailer to the short documentary film, POET, a profile about spoken word artist, Ursula Rucker. I co-produced and DP'd this film, had a great time, and am very proud of it. Please wish us luck at the Urbanworld Film Festival, where it has been selected this year. If you are in NY this September, make time to see it!!
My favorite artist performing in 1970 at the Isle of Wight Festival. This band includes Keith Jarrett on electric piano, Chick Corea on electric organ, Airto Moreira on percussion, Jack DeJohnette, the battery, Dave Holland on bass and Gary Bartz on tenor saxophone. This is a great performance from a Murray Lerner film.

I have been a fan of The Brand New Heavies since I first heard "Never Stop" back in the early 90's. I am so thankful to be able to see another of their concerts (this one's in Amsterdam). MySpace earns my admiration again!!
Who I'd like to meet: Like-minded, and not so like-minded people. Let's talk arts & culture, world affairs and politics. Then, let's get some work done!
